- You contract as an independent subcontractor, not an AVS employee (clause 1.1).
- Every driver's licence must be checked via DVLA/DVA before first deployment, and at least every 6 months after (clause 3.1, 3.3).
- You must maintain insurance appropriate to every Service — minimum cover levels apply (clause 4.1).
- Equipment must meet applicable law and recognised industry standards, and be kept safe and serviceable (clause 5.1).
- While on a Job, you represent the AVS brand — courteous, honest, professional conduct is required (clause 9.1).
- AVS has zero tolerance for violence, threats, abuse, harassment or dishonesty (clause 9.3).
- Incidents must be reported to AVS within 15 minutes of becoming safe to do so (clause 12.2).
- You must not further subcontract a Job without prior written AVS approval (clause 7.2).
- You choose whether to accept each Job and how to organise lawful performance of it (clause 1.3).
